ABOUT ME

My name is Robbin Ståhl and here is a short story about me.

Ever since I first picked up playing the guitar in my teenage years I've had a great interest for the instrument and a curiosity for what's making it tick. That interest has over the years developed into a passion and in 2022 I finally decided it was time to turn that passion into a profession.

Fast forward to 2025, I graduated from Musikinstrumentakademien in Upplands Väsby with a journeymans certificate and was awarded with the small silver medal by the swedish craftsmen council.

As part of my education I also did a short internship with master luthier Mats Nordwall.

ABOUT MY INSTRUMENTS

My goal as a guitar builder is to make loud and resonant instruments with great playability, that will bring its owner joy and inspiration for a long time. 

I only work with finishes that are non-toxic and enviromentaly friendly. Both the standard hardwax oil and high gloss laquer is classified food safe. 

With the environment in mind, I prioritize using FSC-certified wood whenever possible, and to reduce waste I strive to make the most of every piece.
